Select Your FASTag Issuer Bank:
First, you’ll need to select your FASTag issuer bank. Different banks have different processes for KYC, so this step is important to ensure that the correct bank's KYC procedure is followed.
Example: ICICI Bank, HDFC Bank, SBI, Axis Bank, etc.
Upload Required Documents:
Once you've selected the issuer bank, you'll be asked to upload the necessary documents for KYC verification. These documents typically include:
Identity Proof (Aadhaar card, Passport, Voter ID, PAN card, etc.)
Address Proof (Utility bill, bank statement, Aadhaar, etc.)
Vehicle Registration Certificate (RC)
Photograph (Passport-size, if required by your bank)
Complete Payment:
After uploading your documents, you’ll be prompted to complete the payment for the FASTag issuance and KYC processing fee (if applicable).
Payment can be made via credit/debit card, UPI, or net banking, depending on the payment methods accepted by the portal.
Apply for KYC:
After payment, submit your KYC application. This action will trigger the KYC process, and the bank will verify the documents you’ve provided.
KYC Completion Within 48 Hours:
Once submitted, the KYC verification process will be initiated.
Within 48 hours, your KYC status will be updated, and you will receive confirmation from the portal (or the bank) that your KYC is successfully completed.
If there are any issues with the documents, you may be contacted for clarification or further action.
